The movie’s closing credits include a video asking the audience to scan an onscreen QR code to buy tickets for others who may not be able to afford their own, accompanied by a clip — nominate Jesus Caviezel for the commitment of his performance here — explaining the importance of monetarily supporting Sound of Freedom.
Artivism tends to insert implicit calls-to-action (call-to-actions?) for audiences to do their part to improve the ails depicted in the movie . . . but an explicit pass-the-hat to purchase more tickets feels specific to Angel Studios.
Well, the religion of Hollywood liberalism has decided to get in on this action.
While Origin features no closing-credits message, patrons who saw it at New York’s AMC Lincoln Square were handed this card on their way out:
