Welcome?

The dark web is a distinctly 21st-century phenomenon.

A copious amount of art has explored the existential impact of living in the Internet Age, but New Yorkers can currently privy themselves to a crosstown, cross-medium double feature that probes the psychology of two millennial women drawn to watching the worst of the dark web’s worst.

You can start at the IFC Center with the new movie Red Rooms, and then travel uptown to Broadway for the new play JOB, and you’ll see two portraits of lives all but defined by their relationship to the dark web.

What are the people like who spend time in these online worlds? How does it affect their IRL behavior?
