Am I the only person who spent most of Speak No Evil wondering what the movie would look like if James McAvoy and Scoot McNairy switched roles?

Or, how about a movie designed to let them play both??

This idea comes from the theater world, where some shows cast stars to swap roles from performance to performance (The Roommate could’ve…). But, in these scenarios, you need to buy two separate tickets to see both.

Soooooo how about a production where every performance includes such a swap??? Act 1 and Act 2 are the same play, reinterpreted through the leads trading characters at intermission. 

Now imagine a movie with this same conceit, where the second half is a repeat of the first half, save for a casting swap.
