Talkin’ Bout A…

There are times when a documentary’s premise sells itself.

And Daytime Revolution is such a time.

For one week in early 1972, John Lennon and Yoko Ono guest-hosted and programmed a daytime talk show, in an attempt to spread their radical politics throughout the housewives of America.

And Daytime Revolution is a supercut of highlights from their five broadcasts, interspersed with present-day interviews with the participants, who also provide historical context on what was happening in America and the world around 1972.

You’re telling me you wouldn’t watch that?
