Washington D.C.’s Arena Stage premiered a musical version of A Wrinkle in Time this month.
Heather Christian penned the score, and Lauren Yee scribed the book.
AKA: the two resident writers for Signature Theatre’s upcoming season in New York.
Soooooo does that mean A Wrinkle in Time is in Signature’s future??
In the theater’s ever-evolving relationship with producing residencies, what a gift it would be to see how two different residents come together to collaborate on one unified vision. After staging their individual works, A Wrinkle in Time would be an experiment in conversation, expanding Signature’s commitment to residencies.
