Are you there, Adam?
It’s me, protector of the theatrical experience.
For the moviegoing capitol of America, New York has a dearth of large, non-premium auditoriums with consistently perfect presentation.
Which is why I need more from AMC Lincoln Square.
New York doesn’t get much better than Auditoriums 2-5, which is the very reason Auditorium 5’s sound problems irk and grate.
For the last few movies I’ve seen there, the soundtrack — songs and score — come out of only the speakers on the house-left side of the screen. Nada can be heard from the right, a noticeable imbalance throughout the movie.
And for a musical like Dicks, playing there this week…
Fix it, Adam.
