Further proof that my brain’s broke:

As a title, The Killing of Two Lovers always reminded me of 2017’s The Killing of a Sacred Deer; that “The Killing of [blank]” title formulation isn’t the most common.

Alright, stick with me now. 

So The Killing of Two Lovers is a 2020 movie written and directed by Robert Machoian. His follow up feature just came out; its title: The Integrity of Joseph Chambers. 

Ok, so clearly the guy likes him his titular “The [Blank] of [Blank Blank].”

BUT THE WEIRDEST PART:

The Integrity of Joseph Chambers is about a guy named Joe (guess his last name) on a hunting trip to — YES!!! — kill a sacred deer.

I mean, what’s going on here?
